Madhav Jolly
Madhav Jolly is an Indian designer in Melbourne, working across brand and digital product. Identity first, then the system around it, with motion, 3D, and sound when the work needs more than a still. Useful, then a little strange on purpose.
Outside of design, he produces electronic music, digs for rare records, reads sci-fi, solves cryptic crosswords, and spends time with his dog.
Built a cross-disciplinary design practice through studies in UX, interface design, research, prototyping, and 3D design, combining systems thinking with user-centred problem solving.
Completed multiple undergraduate units spanning visual communication, digital media, animation, illustration, print design, and design research.
A food waste maturity model and dashboard for Australian cafes, made during a Monash Innovation Guarantee sprint. I was one of five on the team.
Arts and Culture.
Outside of design, I produce electronic music and create my own artwork, exploring the relationship between sound, visuals, and atmosphere.
I spend my free time illustrating and collecting visual references, constantly feeding new ideas into my creative practice.
& Driven
I enjoy stepping into the unfamiliar and finding clarity in complexity. I'm drawn to messy briefs, shifting constraints, and open-ended ideas. I see the real energy in exploring and refining, turning uncertainty into focused, intentional work.
I work across identity and digital design, with a focus on building systems that feel both clear and alive. I often bring in motion, 3D, and sonic elements to add depth and personality, shaping ideas into experiences that feel intuitive, expressive, and easy to engage with.
Outside of client work, I like staying close to curiosity. I make electronic music, experiment with code, illustrate often, and explore different creative mediums. These side explorations keep my practice open, playful, and constantly evolving.
